3D point cloud to FSPM

Good day.
My name is Camilo Chiang and so far I have been working with 3D scanner + SLAM algorithms for plant phenotyping. I would like now to transform this point clouds to FSPM. Does anyone have any recomendations for this pipeline?

Hi Camilo,
as far as I know, there is not yet a smooth pipeline, just bit and pieces
The first step is to reconstruct the plant from the point cloud. I am using this: User guide — PlantScan3D 1.5 documentation
From plantscan3d you get an MTG file that you have to modify further

here you can see what I am doing, but it requires a bit of manual work

Maybe in Openalea is easier? Let’s wait for the opinion of the Openalea experts
